Softcover sewn wrappers, printed paper label to front panel. 24 pp. A facsimile production of an envelope and five-page letter Pound wrote to Viola Baxter, a very young woman of his acquaintance, regarding incidents that happened to him in Cordoba that he did not dare share with his family. The text of the letter is printed on half-pages facing the relevant page written in script by Pound; he asks Baxter to save his letters as he expects to publish extracts of his Spanish letters "if I survive." From the Pound Archive at Beinecke, in an edition of 500 copies printed in celebration of the poet's 100th birthday. Fine. Item #908
