Printed on recto only, approx. 24 x 16 cm (9.5 x 6.25 in). Strong, distinct plate mark present. Clean print with no toning or foxing to the image; minor, extreme edge-toning and original bookbinding stitch punctures along the right margin indicating its disbound origin. Colors remain bright and distinct.
Extracted from the definitive third (and first complete octavo edition of Les Roses). Masterfully depicts a sprig of the Bramble-Leaved Rose, showcasing its distinct blackberry-like leaf structure.
