Twenty-six 8x10" black and white studio publicity stills, some with marginal captions, four duplicates, plus a printed herald (18x15 cm) with a detachable cast note intact. A few stills a bit darkened or soiled at margins, an occasional marginal snag, but generally very good or better. 

A representative lot of studio publicity stills for the US release of the 1959 United Artists film based on Nathanael West's Miss Lonelyhearts. The adaptation was made by Dory Schary, and only he is credited, with direction by Vincent J. Donehue. Montgomery Clift, Robert Ryan, Myrna Loy, Dolores Hart, Jackie Coogan, and Maureen Stapleton starred. Item #826
