OASIS No. 4, A SELECTION OF POETRY BY W. B. YEATS (1865 - 1939).
[Trinity College, Cambridge]: Oasis, November, 1951. Tan printed wrappers, stapled. 16 pp. Minimally bothered at edges, a very good copy overall.
First edition. A popular college periodical that was created to encourage poetic activity in Cambridge and elsewhere by hosting a poetry competition and encouraging unsolicited manuscripts. The sketch of Yeats that precedes the selection of his poetry indicates that it is the purpose of the publication to serve as an incentive to the reader to go to "The Collected Poems" of Yeats. Very good. Item #805
