THE DOER OF GOOD.

Tempe: Edwin B. Hill, 1948. Single sheet folded once, 7x5" First edition. 4 pp. Printed on a small hand press, not in BAL, about fine.

First edition. Wilde's prose poem here presents four individuals whose lives were profoundly changed by Christ’s miracles. These include a leper who was healed, a blind person whose sight was restored, a woman forgiven of her sins, and a young man brought back to life who now sits by the roadside and weeps. Despite experiencing these extraordinary acts of compassion, all four squander the miracles they received, failing to live in the grace they were granted. About fine. Item #797
