New York: [The Broadway Theatre, N.d. but ca. 1956]. Quarto. Pictorial wrappers. Black and white production stills and portraits, biographies of the performers and principals of the production. Neatly detached from wrapper at upper staple, some small spots on lower wrapper, else very good.
A theatrical program for this musical written specifically to showcase the Las Vegas at of Sammy Davis, Jr. by Joseph Stein and Will Glickman, with the music and lyrics by Jerry Bock, Larry Holofcener, and George David Weiss. The Broadway production, staged by Jack Donahue, opened 22 March 1956 at The Broadway Theatre, where it ran for 383 performances. In addition to the spotlighted Davis, Jr., the cast included his father Sammy Sr., and uncle Will Mastin (who together with Davis, Jr. had performed as the Will Mastin Trio), Jack Carter, Chita Rivera, Kay Medford, and others. Very good. Item #785
