Black text on cream card stock. 4 ¼ in x 6 1/8 in, folded, 8 ½ in x 12 ¼ in, unfolded.  An invitation with a facsimile of Stieglitz's signature on the exterior and text to the interior,  "The Trustees of the Museum of Modern Art Request the Honor of Your Presence at the Opening of The Alfred Stieglitz Exhibition: His Photographs and Collection On Tuesday, June 10, 1947 From 8 to 11 P. M. This Invitation will admit Two Persons." Scarce. About fine. 

The exhibition ran from 10 June  - 21 September 1947 on two floors of the MOMA, one with paintings, prints. and sculpture from Stieglitz's personal collection and the other floor devoted to his photographs. The exhibition was arranged in consultation with his executor Georgia O'Keefe. Item #777
