First U.S. edition of the author's first trade book, having been published by the Black Sun Press in a deluxe edition of one hundred fifty copies in the previous year. This book is dedicated to Laurence Vail, the Dada sculptor and writer, who Boyle met in 1928. Vail was then married to Peggy Guggenheim. Boyle and Vail lived together between 1929 until 1932 when, following their divorces, they married; they were divorced in 1943. Good or better. Item #303
